It is designed for Cloud-supported voice assistant devices, Google Cast for Audio and products with MediaTek PowerAQ infused. MediaTek’s unique PowerAQ tool provides an easy GUI interface for signal flow design and audio parameter tuning, removing the need for an additional DSP.
MT8516 integrates a quad-core, 64-bit ARM® Cortex-A35 MPCoreTM operating at up to 1.3 GHz. In addition to raw NAND support, it has extremely flexible memory support including LPDDR2, LPDDR3, DDR3, DDR3L and DDR4 to accommodate diverse platform needs.

The MediaTek MT8175 is a highly capable and power-efficient smart display and home IoT platform that integrates a dedicated AI processor and ultra-low power wake-up word detection for voice assistants.
Built using an advanced, power-efficient 12nm process, the MT8175 combines a quad-core Arm-Cortex A53 MPCoreTM CPU with Arm NEON engine operating up to 2GHz with an Arm Mali G52-class graphics processor and an AI processing unit (APU) operating up to 624MHz.
